Principal's Corner

Dear Cougar Parents/Guardians,

Together with our teachers, staff and Assistant Principal, Dr. Quintin Davis, I want to welcome our students and community back to Ansbach Middle High School. I hope all of our families had a fun summer where great experiences were had, and lasting memories made. Ansbach Middle High School is ready to welcome our students back to engage in rigorous and relevant learning experiences. Our enthusiastic and committed teachers have been working during the summer in planning sessions, attending professional development, and getting our classrooms ready. I am confident that together we will have a productive and enriching 2022-2023 school year!

As newer members to the Ansbach community, Dr. Davis and I have been reviewing data, listening to feedback from stakeholders and learning of the great things our school and community have to offer. It is evident to us that the culture of the school is centered around our students’ well-being, and we value that. Our work will continue to focus on the development of Focused Collaboration Teams (FCTs) for our teachers, strengthening of our students’ literacy and math skills, and ensuring that all of our students are provided rigorous and relevant instruction. Certainly, a safe and supportive school environment, as well as providing support, is at the core of our work.

Our school will be stronger with the support of the community. We invite you to take advantage of the opportunities to support our students’ learning and experiences. I look forward to meeting you and working with you this academic year.

Please contact our office if you have any questions or need additional information.

May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month - a time to recognize the importance of communication and to honor the professionals who make it possible for so many students to find their voice. Across the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play a vital role in supporting student success, regardless of location, language, or need. Though separated by oceans and time zones, DoDEA SLPs have found a powerful way to stay connected and collaborate through a Microsoft TEAMS group that spans the globe.
